Fire/Rescue Operations
With one of the largest fire protection districts in the State of Illinois, the Momence Fire Protection District's operations span an endless range of possibilities. From structure fires to wildland fires, river rescues to ice entrapments, and motor vehicle accidents to train derailments, the Momence Fire Protection District has encountered some of the most challenging, complex fire/rescue incidents imaginable. Despite the stress that comes from such unpredictable circumstances, the members of the Momence Fire Protection District have embraced the environment in which they operate. And beyond that, they are committed to channeling their experience into preparedness, which translates into a safer community for you to live, work, or travel in.
